Gudauri, a mountain ski resort located on a south-facing plateau of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia is situated 2,200 m above sea level. Its skiable area enjoys the maximum exposure to the sun, which makes Gudauri a magnificent all-year-round tourist destination.
Besides skiing, visitors can enjoy a vast range of alternative outdoor activities in winter. Skiers of all levels can find impressive opportunities for slalom, giant slalom, and downhill skiing, and even the world famous heli-skiing, for extreme lovers.
The skiing season in Gudauri lasts from December to April when the mountains are covered with snow, the average depth of which reaches 2.5 m. The total length of Gudauri ski runs exceeds 57 kilometers and meets the highest international standards. The slopes are accessible via several platter lifts, moving carpets, chairlifts, and a cabin lift.
During Summer, the resort takes on a whole new life as a fabulous sightseeing destination – with crisp fresh air, superior areas for horse-riding, mountain biking, hiking, bird watching, etc.

Trails and lifts: Lower lift station is at an altitude of 1990m and 3307m at the top. Lifts Doppelmayer, Poma. Length of trails 50 km. The total number of tracks 22. The resort lifts can simultaneously serve 11,000 people. 218 hectares of slopes processed nightly snowcat. 20% of the tracks for professionals, 80% – for the fans. Snow cannons are installed on the first track.

Schedule of lifts: Lifts operate everyday no matter the number of skiers. They are closed only when bad weather conditions, with very low visibility or high winds.
