  • Winery Château Mukhrani, located near Mtskheta (ancient capital of Georgia). You will have chance to visit not only the winery but the castle of Mukhranbatoni designed by French architect in 1873. Underground cellars comprised 20 compartments. The main tunnel connected the winery and the castle. To complement the modern winery the chateau cellar was restored to its original historical design. Today the cellar stores 60,000 barrels of wine at a constant fifteen degrees Celsius.
  • In the afternoon continue your tour by driving towards Mtskheta. Have lunch at the local restaurant and Visit Svetitskhoveli monastery and the Jvari monastery that are among UNESCO’s world heritage sites.
  • Our sightseeing tour finishes in Tbilisi. Metekhi church and monument to Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Take cable car to Narikala Fortress to enjoy breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Walk down to the district of Sulphur bath houses passing by the only mosque in Tbilisi. Stroll through the Sharden full of narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine tasting bars, souvenir shops, and breathe in the living past. Cross the Bridge of Peace to Rike Park.
  • In the evening you will visit bar/shop named 8000 vintages. All wines presented at the bar and shop are carefully selected through blind tasting by the Independent Tasting Commission.
Selection is based on the organoleptic qualities and we make sure that wines do not carry any kind of disease.
At the moment they have selected 421 wines out of 968 samples. The most important is that all wines are Georgian.
  • After visiting shop the day ends in Georgian national restaurant where you will have great chance to listen to Georgian folk music and dances.
